Does anyone know the names/phone# of the two boat liveries on Pine Lake in Oakland Co.The lake is by Cass & Orchard lakes.
I was looking at maps of the lake, and there are no public launch sites, but the maps showed two liveries.
Thank`s for the help.Duckman.

Don't know the names of the liveries but I do know that the lake is private.

I don't think there is any liveries there any more. I know no public launch. You may be able to sneak a canoe in there though. The fishing is supposed to be pretty darn good.

I know that the one livery that was on Orchard Lake Road, is now a ski shop and rents ski boats (and residents have tried to close them down for years) have no idea about the other one, never knew it was there. I used to fish there with my Son years ago, you could count on some decent catches back then cause most residents don't fish.

the lake has no public access. the marina you are talking about is run by skiers pier called pine lake marina. you would have to park on the other side of the lake and walk thru an open lot to fish. there are also a few houses under construction with little activity.the south east dropoff is where the pike are.there are a few streets where parking is legal so hey why not. the fishing the last decade has not been very good(lack of fisherman) but there is some huge fish in there.orchard lake has some big pike off the east side in 12 feet too.

Are you talking about the southeast drop off on the main part of the lake or on the smaller bay? Also what depth? I used to know someone on the lake and we would fish the smaller bay in summer but never caught fish larger than 25." Would love to get back on because the action was almost always good.
The liverys are gone. One is now the Skiers Pier shop No boat rental.
The other one was torn down years ago. I used to catch some real nice fish in Pine Lake but that was like 20 years ago

There used to be an outdoor show that I saw that had Ron Spittler of the DNR fishing Pine Lake. He slammed some pretty nice Pike in that lake. Another real good lake to fish unfortunately with no public access is Walnut Lake. Huge Walleye in there along with a few monster Pike. I should of never moved away from there! Dang it!

I used to have access to Walnut in the 80's. What a great pike and walleye lake it was then. There still is a good sized drainage ditch on the south side of Walnut Lake road that would fill up with spawning pike at ice out. I don't know if that is still the case but at the time there would be quite a few females there in the 40" plus range.
