Morning all. I finally have a free morning tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had information on the bay ice. Went Monday and had 3" but heard it blew out. Has anyone been there in the last 2-3 days. If so any information would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully warm weather thats en-route won't hurt it to much as it is getting real cold at night. If Bay isn't good willing to make a road trip if anyone has better options. Venison is good but have a craving for fresh fish. Thanks in advance and be safe all.

I went out and checked around the mouth and all the way up to Linwood today.
Looks like they have been fishing the mouth. There is ice at Linwood but only out about 200-300 yards. Several people fishing there. Lots of people at Hoyles with open water around the docks. I saw no fish on the ice or nothing caught as I drove around.

I heard Palmer road was a good spot to go right now.

If you are planning on hitting Palmer Rd. , you better get there well before light or you'll end up buying a ticket and waiting for your number to be called to get on the ice.
