What does everyone consider a keeper, I think I am a little stingy, but I would like to know what everyone considers an eater....

8" with a gut, no exceptions because I'm not gonna clean the thing to get a chunk of meat that is paper thin

I agree around 8 inches is good. Anything smaller is hard to clean.

About 8" for me. For a quick reference while fishing I lay the fish in the palm of my hand. Tip of my ring finger to the edge of my palm is about 8". Not an exact measurment, but close enough for me.

Same thing, 8", unless it's a bleeder 7". A bleeder smaller than that might become bait.

Pretty much the same as the rest(8").I will keep a few 71/2" if they have some girth to them or am desperate for a meal.No big deal cleaning smaller perch.

9":hide: A Perch gains a lot of weight 9 & plus. I may hook 50 fish and keep 10 but I have cleaned enough 7 1/W's and 8's

Every trip I seem to get a few "under 9' s" in the bucket. They must shrink on the way home

5" if that is all we are catchin. I am not afraid to clean those little buggers. I butterfly them and leave the skin on so they don't get destroyed.

I would prefer 8" but if I make a day of it I am coming home with a meal somehow.
