Hows the ice in Cadillac? I would like to avoid the herd of snow machines at tip up town and get some fishin' in. Is it safe to drive an ATV on the lake? Fishing report would be nice too.
I need to get out of the house be for the ball and chain shoots me.

There was 6inches of ice tuesday, got that from a friend that was out there. He said that he saw 2 vehicles on the lake too. I would NOT be out there with a vehicle. I would try calling pilgrims village.

Pilgrim Village usually updates their report every Sunday.
I'm hoping to take a trip up there in the next few weeks. Good luck if you go.

Pilgrims Village tends to overstate the fishing report up there a bit:16suspect but they do have plenty of ice. Northern Kent county may not have an ice fishing season this year if things don't change real soon. 22 degrees this morning but now there is snow on top.....not good.:help:

I fished in front of PV all after noon and little to no action. Saw very very few fish being taken and most were small. 4' perch under tipups for over 4 hrs nothing. Lots of weather and snowmobile items may have contibuted to this. Lots of ice though.!!!!

Just got back from our annual ice fishing trip. Fished Friday, Saturday, & today. Between the ten of us we caught 300-400 perch, crappie, & bluegill. Unfortunately, only 20-25 were keepers. Had a great time!!! Only saw one flag all weekend. A guy brought in a 40 1/2 " Pike off of Cadillac, they had pics at pilgrims village. They'll probably show it on there report. Good Luck!!!

I have heard the east end of cadillac has crappies. Haven't tried it, I like to fish for pike. You could try calling pilgrims village.

Try going out at Kenwood Park in 10-15 feet of water about an hour before dark for your best bet for some great spec fishing. My father-in-law and I caught a couple dozen specks between 10-13 inches. Watch out for the stress cracks, as last year nobody fished that area because of vehicles going through the ice. Don't know how the ice is this year in that area due to not getting the time to get there yet.
