Just wanted to show you folks a new pair of ice cleats I bought recently. I've used many different kinds of ice cleat styles over the years and these are absolutely the BEST I've ever seen or used. Extremely comfortable, easy on/off, very high quality and best feature of all,....you will not slip !!! nothing I hated more than being on the ice and having to do the "Penguin" walk for fear of slipping and falling, let alone hurting myself or busting up my gear, not to mention spilling the minnows !!! :yikes: :( Take a look at these things, they rock. $39.95 a pair. It will be the last pair I ever buy I'm sure.

Case hardened heads on the replaceable screws. Not you normal self-tappers either, they have an "extended" ridge running around the outer circumfrence which bites into the ice. An oustanding product. IMO.

I have the same cleats. As Whale said they are about slip proof. No problem putting them on.They also come in different sizes. Now a little ice would help.;)

Sorry about that, my bad. The cleats name are "Stabilizers". They're carried by several outlets. Purchased mine at "Franks Great Outdoors" in Linwood with Hoffie1 on a ice fishing trip a few weeks ago. As Hoffie1 posted, match your size to your "biggest" boot, they'll fit any of your boots then. A bag of fifty replacement "heads" are only $4, if you need 'em. Great stuff ! :) One last thing,...MADE IN THE USA !!! (Maine)

Those look cool but I'll stick with my old faithfuls. They work great and last years. easy on and off.

One of the main reasons I got tired of a lot of the designs was they only cover the "arch" of the boot/foot. I guess as long as you keep flat footed, you shouldn't slip. As far as longevity of these "Stabilicers", I think they'll outlast me. They are extremely well made. Heavy dutry Vibram sole with heavy nylon webbing straps with long heavy duty velcro strips sewn on for adjustment / fit. Very secure ! ;) :)

Them Are pretty nice, I have got to hit Franks anyway so I will have to check them out...
Them Studs look like the same one I use to Stud The 4 Wheeler Tires for some traction...
Thanks for letting us know about these I need a new pair.

I also seen them at Gander Mountain in pontiac and utica. They looked really good to me.....I have a set of artic spurs and used them for years...they just hurt the arch of my foot and take there toll on my back after and all day outing. I did pick up a different pair (before I seen the ones you describe) that are rubber and strech over your boot.....dont look as good but Im gonna give em a try....if they dont hold up......I'm going for a pair of those.
Thanks for the review
