Fished all day Thursday on the north half in front of the DNR launch and out 1/2 mile. 313 fish of which most were Bluegills and Redears, with about 45 perch. All except 20 perch between 8-10 inches went back along with a 25" pike. The 8-10 inchs of ice is excellent and there were some vehicles on the ice but there was one van owner who spent the day watching the tow trucks trying to retrieve his vehicle from the water who will tell you it isn't vehicle safe yet. (no injuries in the near shore mishap) Otherwise a rewarding day of fishing in the best of conditions.
