Lake Leelanau Walleyes, Help!

Help!
My fiance and I will be fishing South Lake Leelanau the second week of September, 2006. I have fished this lake once in late October for two days, but did not have enough experience with this lake or walleye fishing to find them!
If you have any hints or tips on where to fish on the south lake and what lures you've had luck with, it'd be greatly appreciated.

south lake leelanau? pm Walleye mike, he had some luck there last year..most ofthe tourneys are won with north lake fish..bigger, i hear.........
