went out again as in the same spot as canal fishin' 12/29, chartreuse and orange jigs with waxers. 19 nice perch and 36 slab gills with my dad. Woke up late with a holiday hangover but still mananged to catch a nice mess of fish. good luck fellas, oh, ice was 2 inches:D:)

I KNOW that was fun Marbleye, I did it for years when I lived in New Baltimore, I probably fished the very same canal but there are thousands of them down there. Now-a-days I'm forced to be content with fishing Little bay-de-noc, now my local waters. Don't believe everything you read, this area up here ain't that great when you cut your fishing teeth on the mighty Lake St. Clair.
