Checked Ponemah and Fenton yesterday afternoon both looked unfishable with open spots here and there and lots of open water. There was one portable shanty on the S. end of Fenton where it appeared to be froze solid not sure how thick. Will do more scouting today and will update.

Check the lakes in the Holly State Rec area. They should be about ready.

Ponemah and Fenton more ice today, still no fishermen except that lone soul on the S. End of Fenton. No one on Lobdell, picked up some bait at the bait shop off Silver Lake (the old White's) said no one's been out thin ice. Byram just completely froze over no fishermen there yet. :(
