Latest ice and water conditions for LSC, Metro Beach/Clinton River area. Fished Metro Beach, water is still dirty and there is tons of slush underneath the ice. Ice is about 4 inches thick. I was able to drop a jigging rapala through, however, I don't think a typical ice jig would make it through the slush. Experienced a similar thing last year at Lake Simcoe and according to the locals it was like that all year. Hope this isn't the case here. Also fished the shallow bay south of the Clinton River, water is also dirty here, which is strange because it was clean 2 days ago. It has been breezy for a few days in a row, but the winds have been off shore, thought the water would have cleaned up by now. As far as fish caught, just a few small ones, cleaner water would make a big difference.
