Houghton?

i heard that houghton was being fished, so i would like to know how they are doin out there, cause i would like to get up there before or even after tip up town.

does anyone risk goin out there during tip up town, if so how is it with all the snowmobiles and all the people.

If you are going for a party that is the place to be,but if you are going to do some serious fishing I would avoid houghton lake those 2 week-ends. Just my opinion !

understand there's 2-4in of ice and there were fishing south side of the lake for gills, have'nt heard about wally's yet. as for fishing during tip-up town, do you like fishing with 25,000 snowmobilers?i'll fish higgins or lake margreathe thank you. just my opinion. see ya's on the ice

never fished houghton in the winter but i always go there in the summer and lately i have not done any good, except one year in the spring, how is it in the winter is it better than the summer, cause all of the weeds.
