Little Bay De Noc it is!

I posted earlier on a good lake for a cabin in the northern lower to rent a cabin. Well I have decided to go to the U.P. and try little bay De Noc. I am gonna stay at Sall Mar resort on the rapid river starting June 3rd. I have alot of options I am also gonna fish big bay dn also. I welcome any comments from folks who have been here and I will post a full report following my visit. Thanks for all who gave me ideas!

Good Luck up there and have a good time. The 3rd is the day our group will be headed home. We always fish Big Bay, less people.

If you have not fished it get a guide for a day. And have them turn you on. Great fishery. The people at Sal Mar are great.

I think I will try the cheapo route and see how I fare and if I can't seem to get it right with the advice they already said they would give me, then I will charter a day or two into it.

It is a very good and easy time of the year to catch fish, just make sure you have a map of the bay, there is a few tricky spots. There should be a great day bite going on since the moon will be in the first quarter. I will be up there 1 week before you. I just love that time of year. good luck

Lots of shallow areas and numerous hazards on big and little bay. get a good map of both, I have the hot spots. The water is lower than when the maps were printed.
