Cabelas Meat Slicer??

Any of you own the meat slicer that cabelas sells for $99.99??
Would like to know the quality of this product. Looks mostly like heavy plastic to me. Who's got one???

Don't have one, just remember seeing Gander had their meat slicers 25% off last week. Since you're in GR and 29th st store is where I saw them, I thought I'd pass it along.

The only thing that drives me nuts is most of these residential slicers will only cut up to 1/2". I don't know about you, but my cow steak needs to be an inch and a quarter thick.

If you go to a heavier duty, you're looking in the ball park of $500. I have one that is quite similar and it works like a champ!
(ya can't beat that stainless steel :D )
