Does anyone know where the dam is in lansing. I heard they were getting nice eyes, pike,and some cats out of there, but I have no idea where it is at?

The dam and fish ladder are right downtown on the Grand River, south of Grand River Ave., north of Oakland (M-43). Never fished down there, but I've been down there a couple of times watching the salmon use the fish ladder. I know they catch cats/carp etc. and some walleyes, but for accurate info, I'd suggest you call Grand River Bait & Tackle right there...517/482-4461.

There are 2 dams in, Lansing.The one J D ,mentions in "Old Town",and the other near the old Oldsmobile plant.
The one in Old Town is near Grand River & Turner street.It has the last fish ladder on the Grand.
The other is near Washington & Moores River Dr..As it has no ladder,it is as far upstream as the Salmon and Steelhead can go.The Red Cedar,s mouth is nearby ,too.Creating a unique fish habitat.
