I seen a Large buck today while i was walking along the Huron Steelhead fishing. I'm going to start taking my bow fishing with me, and my rod hunting with me maybe i'll do better ? :yikes:

I can't tell you the number of bucks I've seen while duck hunting the west branch river over the years, and the number of geese I saw this muzzleloading season as I sat on the edge of cornfield waiting for the deer to enter the fields at dusk. No deer but I did see 300 geese. Haha the irony of it all.

I watched a guy set his rod down, walk to his truck, get his bow, come back and shoot a doe on the PM at the 'visitors hole" several years ago.

The deer just stood off in the brush about 50 foot from the river, I think she thought she was hidden. She was wrong.

There are people fishing that bend so often, she was probably used to them being there.

To further support this theory, I hunted some private land the lastnight of doe season and had a flock of geese fly over and set down in the field while I hunted does, this was different property then the first time I saw geese while deer hunting, and no I didn't see a deer

I just love that when you have turkey tag and all you see is deer or when your deer hunting and you dont have a turkey tag and there is 20 of them feeding in the field right below ya.
