Linwood area Sag Bay Ice

anyone have info on the ice around Newman rd or some of the other roads up and down the shore near Linwood??

The ice was good on monday on neuman. 5 inches at 400 yards out, not sure how it is now. Plamer still had 5 inches yesterday morning. Not sure about now but thought I'd let you know.

did you do any good out there and how was the drive from the end of the pavement to the lake...a sloppy two track or not too bad???

koby, I drove to the end of linwood today about 1:15. There were two trucks parked down by the ice but I could not tell where they were fishing at. I had my kids with me and couldnt take a walk on the ice at the time. There was a guy getting geared up to go out but didnt seem to want to talk so I went about my way. Ice is there but I would think its a little iffy like most places. Word of mouth is alot if dinks with an occasional 8-9 incher. Been wanting to get out myself just not enough time yet. With these kind of temps be very careful when going out. Could be good one step and bad the next. Depth of water is prolly only a couple feet at most but can lose alot in one.
