Pike Crazy!

I lost 3 pike today on Manistee Lake in Kalkaska! I watched every one come in. The first 2 I fought for a while before they broke my 4lb. test. The third one came in like a submarine on high gear and never stopped. It too snapped my line. I didn't have a chance on that one. I'll be going back but I'll be better equiped!

Wish I were there with you. Sounds like you should give the old tip-up a try. With a big fat smelt on it. Wish we had good ice here to go. Nothing gets me going more than the sound of someone in the distance yelling FLAG ! Good luck and be safe.
