Green Lake/Traverse City Area Ice

I'm heading up Thursday morning to do some work in Downtown TC. Was wondering if there is good ice on Green Lake to be able to get out for some smelt. How about Lake Skegemong (sp?)? Any other lakes in the area doing well? Is there enough ice for the quad or should I cancel that idea? Thank you for the replies in advance.

green lake was skim ice looked like swiss cheese a week ago so after all this warm weather i'd say opened back up both ends never had ice at the karlin end
