Well I've been looking at hardwater since the second week of december and with the pike spearing season three days away, it appears that the "yacht club" will be drydocked for at least a week. Anyone got any ideas on how can put some floats on my 48 square foot shanty? :(

.... just put your shanty on a pontoon boat... cut out a square right in the middle of the pontoon boat... and you are good to go!!!! :D

I feel your pain. This weekend was to be my first trip out this year. I may still try to find some ice somewhere but it doesn't look very promising.

My bro walked on it tonight, and others were fishing, but its not worth hauling a 300 lb spearing shack onto the ice, only to watch it sink into five feet of water should it decide to go through. It'd be good structure for the gills though :lol:
