Ice reports from Cadillac or Mitchell lakes

Thinking of heading up north this weekend looking for a fishing report and ice condition for Lake Cadillac and Mitchell Lake.

lot of poeple fishing on lake mitchell today right in front of the state park

On Lakes Cadillac and Mitchell.Anyone have any spots on these lakes they would share with my son and as were going next weekend.Thanks for any help and will post how we did.

Go to pilgrim village bait shop in west cadillac. They should tell you an area for what your looking for. I think if you want pike try the cove on mitchell. I havent fished it this year but they are doing well.

we fished it last year caught about ten pike(5 24-26 in.) on cadillac about 100 yards past the school coming from pilgims village. we also did good on mitchell for panfish in the cove areas.
