I\'m looking for a set of pontoons or complete boat. I\'m not interested in dumping alot of cash into this. If you know somebody that has one cheap or needs it removed from their yard, msg me. I\'m looking to make a blind outa this thing so good condition is optional. Motor is not required but will be considered. - See More Here: http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2580

Why is it that whenever I run across one like you described, I can't ever find anybody interested in a blind project and then....when somebody wants one, they get tricky to find?

Although I live in the land of no lakes, I will keep my eyes peeled. How many footer are ya lookin for?

well....I'm not real picky on this, it's gonna undergo a huge transformation. I'm guessin we gonna need something in the 16'-20' foot range. preferrably something on the bigger end of that range. One of my friends is welder by trade and thats why I wouldn't mind just pontoons.

I'll keep my eyes open. For some reason I always seem to notice old pontoons that pretty much only have the deck left on them and think they'd make a good blind, but when it comes down to remembering where I've seen them I draw a blank. I'd think if you drove on 13 between BC and Standish, you'd see plenty of old broken down pontoons in peoples yards that you could make an offer on. My ideal would be to find an old Islander and turn it into a blind;)

Route 25 between fillion road and caseville. There are at least two on the bay side of the road.
