Deer Slayer

I stopped by the old bait shop on M-46 yesterday and met the owner. He stated that minnows are $2.50 a dozen and he "gives a healthy scoop". Also saw his mobile bait shop which he will be taking to the Saginaw river. He might also have a grill out for hot dogs etc. His only hope is that it either turns cold or warm so that the ice or water make it better for fishing. (this weather does not help him make any money)
Just thought I would let everyone know what he said. A customer also said that there were two boats in the Tittabawassee south of Midland. From Freeland down to State St. the Tittabawassee was all open with some ice at 46 to the north. (Nothing looked safe):yikes:
