Went out to Clark for a little afternoon fishing. Got out around 3, ice at this point is something to watch. 4-5" of good ice in most spots, but a lot of places there was a 2" layer of very wet slush on top. My buddy and his son went with me and we set 4 tip-ups, they had one rod jigging in the shanty and I was moving around with the Vex and a couple of poles trying to locate fish. Stayed until 8 without even a nibble. Fished the SW portion of the lake. Only saw one other shanty across the lake. Don't know how he was doing.
Going to try Sand this afternoon until after dark. Keep an eye on those ice conditions fellas, I think they are deteriorating fast.
