I kind of wound up with an unplanned week off of work. Left over PT etc. Anyways, back when it was cold, I had this great plan that I was going to fish this whole week. Sounded like heaven. Then this weather started kicking up. Anyways, I want to get on some "safe" ice. Safe, meaning I feel comfortable on it. Preferably 4 inches. So my question is, how is the ice around here (if there's any left) and if its not good, how far north will I have to go to find some decent ice.
