3rd Annual Outing ?

Howdy-
Missed out on last summer's wingding; don't want to miss the next! I need to get my vacation schedule nailed down in the next couple of weeks; is there a firm date yet for the 3rd annual outing?

The Durand club is having some difficulties this year so I am not certain that we will be able to have our outing there. If not we will find another place. No volunteers for ramrodding this years outing yet, and no contact with the club yet. You are welcome to take the reigns if you like, or just keep prodding at the rest of us until someone hops into the driver's seat.

Lets hear some opinions of possible outing dates. I know that Hunter333 and his wife would prefer it a little earlier in the season, because last year they had ot report back to prison duty right after the party. (actually they are teachers but to me that would be prison duty)

What happened with the Durand Club?

I emailed the membership guy to see about joining and he said they are down to only shooting trap on Thursdays and that they weren't on the ATA shooting schedule for this year. They lost their Trap coordinator and the new one isn't up to speed. There was no indication that the problems were permanent or that we wouldn't be welcomed, I just didn't want anyone to think goin to Durand is automatic.

I'll get another email out to the guy as soon as I see some interest in a general time. Like late july or early june or mid august or whatever.

Can I suggest maybe having it mid to late June? That way school has just gotten out and there is probably more of a chance that people won't be on a big vacation right after school gets out.
