Surf fishing??

I haven't heard lately about it, and was just wondering if anyone has been doing it, especially in the NW area of Michigan. I know it seems like a dumb question from someone who lives here, but I haven't been able to get out. I just returned from Arizona, (not a fun trip), and haven't talked to anyone who's been. I could really use the help, and I gotta believe there are some fish to be had that way.

Surf fishing has been pretty slow at Grand Haven lately, from what I hear(or don't hear).

Word is, they're gettin steel in frankfort....I plan on hitting it this weekend. Bring your warm cloathes!!

Hey Bill.
Some of the guys that were working on my house have been doing good off the pier and beach. Depends on how the winds blowing and if it's to rough in Frankfort or Elberta they go to Platte bay (mostly west bay) and are still getting a coho and a brown from that location.
I'll be up the day after Christmas for a week mabe see you out there.

Thing's have been real slow in Muskegon. Either the wind is wrong or it is too rough.

Thanks guys, or gals. If anyone would like to join me on Christmas eve, give me a shout. I feel a little lazy right now so I was thinking of hitting a beach or pier near here. Thanks for the info.
