http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/data/500/DCP_0609_Custom_.JPG Finally found a picture of ny nephew's perch he caught last year on South Manistique. My dad took him out and got him all set up in the shanty then walked outside to chat with a fellow. When he came back he told his grandpa that he put on a bigger minnow so he could catch a bigger fish. When my dad went to check this is what he found...13 1/2 inches and 1.5 lbs.

VERY NICE PERCH!!!!!!!!! Bet he had a ball catching it!!

He sure did. He got a little spot in the local paper up there, too. He was only -i think- 5 at the time... He's just like his grandpa-lives to fish and eventually hunt!

WOW, that'll feed that little fella for a week, maybe two!!!

Did ya have it mounted?Nice size for a perch and very rare to catch them that big.

Stinger- nope he ate it for supper and again for breakfast. The only kid I know that eats fish for breakfast... :)
