Hey, get your ol man to walk out on Fremont "FIRST" then you'll know if its safe.

I was just in town and there was one poor sole out on the very shaky looking ice. The real thin ice is right up to the edge of the launch pier. Going to the west from there I don't think a duck could walk on it, looked that thin.

Shaky at best and not getting better any time soon by the looks of the wx report.

Never thought of using the better half as an ice tester before. What do I do if he falls in? LOL. I know where the rope is, it's in the bucket, but which bucket?? Weather was being very good to all and starting to make some ice for awhile, and now gone to crap! I have not been ice fishing in two years and I really would like to get out on the ice sometime. Hope no one trys to venture out anywhere on any ice for the next week or so. Thanks for the ice tester idea.......I will let him know you suggested it!! :) Merry Christmas to you also.
