Saturday on the ice. Where to go???

I plan on heading out for a morning fish on saturday. I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out and send me in the general direction of some safe ice. Any help is appreciated. By the way I live in Canton and would be willing to travel an hour or so. Was thinking about LSC and it looks like the wind will be right for that. Thanks

Chief....I'm going out tomorrow afternoon and gonna stick around till a little after the sun goes down. I went by there yesterday and grabbed the spud from the back of the truck and walked out to where a guy was fishing. I asked him how thick the ice was and he told me a consistent 6" all around where he was at. He said today and tomorrow's mild temps will do very little to the ice. I'm targeting that lake tomorrow afternoon if you're up for it.
