Anyone know whats going on up there? Is ice OK? Planning on driving up next week. Appreciate any information. Was thinking about fishing on the east side.Thanks

There is good ice from the narrows, north. They are driving quads and sleds.
My brother was out last weekend and reported 8 inches of good ice. He got 3 on Saturday, but no keepers on Sunday. Headed up over new years myself.

try www.baydenoc.com I stayed at the shorewood Motel before...public ramp is directly across the street! I also stayed at the travel lodge in Escanaba...you have computer internate there with pool and hot tub!! You are a little more into the southern end of the bay there...good when you are well into the winter!
