Sold Some FUR!!!

Well I sold some fur last week to the Groenewolds truck and here's how I did.
Here are some prices...
Coon Green

Otter Green

Beaver green mostly smalls and medium

2@ $11.00
4@ $5.00

Also sold some rats in the round for $1.50 to $3.25. I was happy with the Beaver since I took him the smallest ones I had. Keep in mind that these prices are for green fur, no commissions, and I got my money right away. I don't think I would have done better at NAFA.

How can a person get in touch with this buyer? I sold fur this weekend all put up and by the prices you posted I got took. I had 16 coon Avg. $7 , 48 rats Avg. $2, 4 male mink @ $9 and 2 females @ $6 For all the work I put in on this I sure would like to get the best prices.

If I'm not mistaken "Green Fur" is a hide that is skinned but NOT fleshed, Stretched, or dried ... In the round is selling the whole animal not skinned

Just out of curiosity....what's the market for rat fur? The other's I can understand, but rats? Also, has anyone sold any coyote's? I'll be doing some 'yote hunting now that deer season is over, just wondered if there's any market for them.
