Bunnies...

Now that ML season is done, I got to do some bunny hunting the other day with my girlfriend.

Had five opportunities and made good on two....a little rusty on my shooting!

Seemed good to bust some brush and carry my light 20 ga. It also seemed good to only have to pack my gun, shells and small game coat after all the gear I bring with me deer hunting. Gotta love the simplicity of rabbit hunting.

Looking forward to hitting the area again. Lots of sign and cover. If only I had a beagle!

Heading back out in the morning. This time a new location, we'll see how it goes. I should just hunt in the backyard, however the neighbors might get a little angry. The rabbits like to tease the beagle daily around the house.
