Just got back. Water was very stained. Could not see a foot below the ice in 4 foot of water.

yep, i also got back. we were out SANG, we got 6 5" perch. good number of guys out there, but didn't see anyone doing too much better than us, but who knows what goes on inside those shanties:D we also went in the canals behind the bait shop and didnt see a fish iced, we were there from 1 to 4:30

We kept very busy on perch this morning, but nothing over 10 inches. (south of the DNR launch toward the barracks) Don't remember exactly how many (I caught the fewest :) )

Kevin, how thick was the ice and how far were you off shore?

Ice was at least a good 3-4 inches. we were 15-20 yards from the crack, which where we were, was maybe 100-150 yards offshore? I saw a number of people well beyond the crack, but I guess I am chicken or something.
