Went out today with Pollywog to the canal right next to Ginos. As we walked around to the mouth of the canal....SPLASH :yikes: P-wog went in up his waist. :( Needless to say we were done before we got started. Be careful out there boys and girls! :fish:

I tried to get in there last Monday, I took my spud with me and noticed it was a little to thin for my liking and choose to stay away. Sounds like he was lucky and fell on the sand bar there. A few feet either way could have been a lot worse.

When its windy there it sucks the water in and out of that canalm which makes the ice thinner. Becareful and take your spud next time, One step I was on 4 inches of ice and took 1 more step, ice cracked so spuded a hole and it only about 1/2" thick!
