this link should take you to a google map - this is a long way from Jackson - and to be honest with you the last few years have been pretty slow for perch..at least for me. There are more productive spots around the area..I did real well by Selfridge last winter and further down the lake by Metro Beach . Good luck

Raft is about 1 mile north of the DNR Fairhaven boat ramp. The Raft is a rest/bar and you can park in the lot for 3 bucks. I was there sunday and did a few dinks

I was there last saturday did pretty good. 30 jumbo gills and a few crappie in 2 and a half hours. Spikes were the ticket. Those big gills hit realy light. good luck.

Its not that I'm trying to infringe on the fishing on that side of the state, its just that I have time to kill at the in-laws place and sitting around watching tv when there are gills to be had. Thank you for the replies I appreciate it.
