Over the past few years icefishing has become a bigtime
sport. Along with that, comes responsibility.
The great sport so many of Us enjoy, has gotten, a bad rap.
Several places that use to be accessable, no longer exist.
I know, its probably only a few people, but we need to
clean things up a bit.
When your fishing in canels, with houses around you,
try to respect the Owners. Nothing worse than a home
owner, looking out and seeing someone Urinating in the
middle of the canal. Pick up after yourselves, and if you
see something laying on the ice, pick it up. Countless times
last year, there were empty propane cans, bait containers,
beer, and pop cans laying around.
A local store owner, has told me, he will no longer
allow fisherman to park in his lot. To many guys emtying
cigerette ash trays, leaving trash in his alot.
He even went as far as telling, guys were taken
dumps behind his buiding.
We complain, about all these no parking signs,
well the never were there before, until we fisherman
spoiled it for others.
