Pheasant and Rabbit

I was at the Kroger on M-59 and Michigan in Howell yesterday and noticed they had packaged Rabbits and Pheasants for sale. First time I noticed them.

The bird was from some farm, nice tan wrapper..The bunnies were wrapped in a regular kroger wrapper like steaks and chops come in..Sorry I didn't notice the price..knew it was out of my range so I didn't bother looking..
Nope Dads name was Don, he passed in 85.

I was there today and checked it out a little more
The Pheasants are from Toubl Game farms, Non smoked are $5.79 a pound, average price is $15.00 a bird. Their smoked whole pheasants are $9.89 a pound and average $21.00 a bird
Their Rabbits are from China and are $2.48 a pound with an average of $5.50 a bunny
They also have whole young goose from Northern Goose @ $3.99 a pound, they were running around $30.00 a bird.
All out of my price range, but Good Eats anyway.
