LOL Michman Its ok I see your kinda new to the site. The whole Forum is about posting fishing reports. You might be better off asking If anyone is getting fish on the lake? or Are they getting fish Off Metro close in 2 fow, off the beach ;)

With yesterday's wind and all this snow, I might just sleep in this weekend.

This snow is wet and heavy. Water will be coming up through any holes and cracks. Not sure if it will refreeze properly by this weekend. Any thoughts guys?

I was out scouting this afternoon. I seen several guys fishing in various harbors. I checked two harbors and found the ice OK and safe. The snow is wet and heavy but it didn't seem to bother the ice where I stopped. I don't know how the upper end of the lake is but I found places that I will try this weekend.

not sure how this relates to the big water.. but... the pond at the tech cntr was solid... before the snow... this evening it had two open holes in it...

the lake and canal spots that were safe before will probally still be safe this doesnt mean to tuck youre head in your #$$ and just walk out it is still first ice so be carefull as far as a report well ...its first ice and as anyone knows first and last is the best i fished as much of the amrican as possible yesterday and found some of the best fishing around fords cove but metro is worth a try as i hear. :rolleyes: also got as close to the north channel as possible caught fish just not as good as in my backyard!!
