Hello, My nephew went out and bough me Hypershock broadheads for X-mas. I have heard a lot of good stuff about them and a lot of bad things about them. Please inform me with your opinion on them.

I tried the 100's early season on a doe. She was down in about 80 yards. As she ran away I could see the blood spraying out with each hearbeat. I would recommend them.

Tried them this year for the first time as well. I shot a doe dead center in the should with them. I didn't get a pass through because of hitting both shoulder blades, but the doe only made it about 50 yards. I saw her go down.

The blade is still razor sharp after completely shattering on shoulder.

Great broadhead. It was my first year using them. I double lunged a 6 early season that ran about 40 yards. Then November 11 double lunged an 8 that only went 20 before going down. Both shots were from treestands, 20 feet up. The 6 was a 15 yard shot, the 8 was at 25 yards. I draw 70lbs and both shots were partial pass throughs. The opposite side shoulder sheared both arrows while they were running. Plenty of blood, in fact the best blood trail I've ever seen. They fly pretty true to the fieldpoints. They make kind of a whistling sound in flight.
I've also used Spitfire mechanicals with similar shots and similar performance. Hypershocks are definately easier to clean after the shot than the Spitfires. I would definatley use them again. They are a bit steep $$$. I bought mine at the Woods & Water show in Imlay City for $25 a three pack. I think retail they are almost $40. That is silly expensive for broadheads.

I have used the 125's for two seasons now, and have had awesome results. The devastation these heads create is awesome. I have killed everything from a 1 1/2 old doe to a mature Ill. buck with them with no complaints.

This year I shot an nice 8-point with the 100 grain version and I had a 3 inch exit hole. The buck ran MAYBE 20 yds and stopped. After standing in one spot for about 10 seconds, he fell over, got back up and then fell again. He covered maybe 30 yds total. I will be taking these to Kansas next year for sure!

my cousin shot a doe at 20ish yards...mathews bow: 65 lbs: 400g arrow..didnt get pass thru and it was a stomach hit.......

i had a problem with them when i tried them but i never took to the field with them because the quality of craftmanship was sad...i purchased a 100g pk..and one weight 112g , 107g, 109 g ...

there are better heads out there for less money that work when they hit the animal...for a head to open up after entering the body you are leaving alot of opportunity for error...

i will stick to thunder heads 3 blade fixed 100g

I will stick with Mike on this one....Give me a fixed Blade over a expandable any day.....Less room for error...

Still the fastest killing head i have ever killed a deer with... i have never seen as much damage or as large of exit wounds ever..... if i wasnt a shooting a (sponser head) i would be using these..........

I have several friends use them and have yet to hear them say anything but good and the farthest recovery was 30yds a lot of my buddies are shooting the 100s and 80's and i can say this awesome results...

blades have been super sharp even after the exit not a one blade i have seen has been chipped or rolled even the 80 grainer i blew through a shoulder with

112g , 107g, 109 g ...
thats all the differeance i guess that big when shooting spots,,how about a 8 inch kill zone at 20yds?, 30yds i have seen a lot of heads and arrows that are also off by a few grains too that is why we weigh and measure them all and spin test etc..............

but then again i guess the cape buffalo that was killed this year is not a good test either.... check out there web sight as i have read this is the first cape taken with a mechicancal head...

to each is own as long as it s sharp they will kill if the shot placement is there too...... i know that a marginal shot wiht teh afftershocks big cutting diam might make all the differance if there is a poor shoot placement.
