Ok, which package do you have and pros v. cons

I think its the ultra-pak. It has 9/19 degree tranducer with the battery indicator.

Bought my fl-18 pro pack 9-19 degree trans. ducer vex. 3 yrs ago. 9-19 trans let me fish shallow or deep. Buying the fl-18 pro or ultra - you will not have to upgrade in the future.(if you wish to). Would not fish with out a flasher. :)

Just make sure you get the one that fits in a 5 gallon bucket. The first case I had, didn't. Had to buy a different one.

I bought the Genz pack because it saved my FL8 in a 70mph tumble that the sonar took when the Sled opened up and all the stuff went for a ride. The only thing I needed to fix was the transducer.

Thanks for the responses. Looks like the propack is the way to go. From what I understand with the propack is there is no place to hold the transducer? With the money saved, more can be spent on jigs, bait, etc...:)

Ok, Other was meant to be anything else besides the other options listed.:fish:the pro pack 2 has a place to hold the transducer and has a little tackle box,rod holder but it dont have a beer holder yet. i think that for the 2006 model.:lol:

I always us the 19th hole that I drill to hold beer. Oh wait, thats golf. :lol:
They have one as an add on accessory.
