No hunting on the Todd Farm specifically...however there are a few state land parcels surrounding the farm that are open to hunting. Just check in with the field office there and they'll give you a map and let you know where and when you can hunt.

This saturday and next saturday they have a doe only hunt in the actual refuge. Yuo had to apply for it back in august. Good idea to hunt the fringes of the refuge. Friend hunted one of the zones saturday said he saw some hawgs but no shots.

Can someone give me some insight as to what this place is? Game Ranch, Breeding Farm? Do they practice QDM?

We have a similar place up here in the north called the Horicon Club where knowone would hunt it but everyone would hunt the edges and see monster racks. A friend took a 136 class (net) buck off the edges of it. Knowone is seeing anything anymore since all the anterless permits have been issued, if that tells you anything.

Its a waterfowl refuge.

Drive down 118th street in Fennville and look for the large black mass and honking sound in the sky. It's a large waterfowl refuge where they use a draw system to hunt geese/ducks. This refuge holds alot of very large and intellegent deer. The farm is mostly corn with grassy fields in between. During Sept-Oct. you can drive up and down 118th with a spotting scope and see Pope & Young bucks along with smaller 8's and such. Someone last year took a doe that the DNR est. to aged at 8 yrs old! Best to go hour or so before dark when the big boys start coming out of the corn. :yikes:
