so far i bought a spear,vexilar fl-18, eagle portable flasher,a f-8 flasher,a s-3000 shanty,3 spring bobber rod and reel combo's,5 tip ups,this month and now im looking for a power auger.my wife dont know about any of it.:lol: i love visa's. im going try to get her to buy me the auger.with all this stuff im just waiting for ice. i can sleep on the couch for awhile it will be worth it.i still dont think im done buying crap yet.anyone else went nuts this year????????

How long does it take to acquire all the hunting and fishing accessories one needs? With the thought being you only need to pick up a few updates every year.

If I was you I'd get an underwater camera and all the possible lures,line and tackle your going to need too...make sure you get a good comfy seat for the sore ar$e you're gonna have as well :bash: :lol:

As fer a snowmobile, here is one of the best set ups.

aprox 400-500cc; fan cooled; bogie wheel suspension if you're in southern michigan, high clearence slides anywhere else; decently wide ski stance. As fer new machines, the skidoo skandics or yamaha VK 540s are nice.

Over the summer I bought a near perfect '74 Evinrude....18" track. fan cooled, 35 hp, with a huge storage box under the seat, bogie wheels and reverse....I can back it off the trailer and not have to lug it....When I seen it..the first picture in my head was of it setting on the ice next to the shanty lol....

PERFECT! Those sleds are pigs though. They work great on lake saint clair. Maybe some star studs and you'd be in buisiness.

Funny you should mention that type of sled I am rehabbing a two man johnson this weekend that is 43 horse(I think its a 437) for only ice fishing. Reverse etc....And it has the family pull behind sled that I am making into an ice shanty gear hauler! Wish me luck!

i bought 3 flasher because i got some cheap ***** friends and i dont want them using my fl-18 so they can fight over the other 2. :lol: i couldnt pass up the deal on them so i bought them for my buddies so they have something to look at. has anyone used a eagle flasher and do they pick up your lure.

How are you going to transport all that out?im tring buy a kids sled for $350. its a 200cc it pulls me along about 40 mph with no problem and it will pull a sled great. its light weight an will do the job.i dont have to go 120mph to get where i need to go 20 - 25 should work great.
