Does anyone use these for fishing the eyes in the Sag bay? If so what sizes/colors do you use? Dont hesitate to PM me your secret favorites.... :D Do they come small enough for perch? I do not have any of these in my collection and am always looking for new baits to try.

Sometimes in the midseason slump I find fishing lures no one else is will sometimes produce for me on slow days, or maybe even in the middle of the day. Anyone else ever experience this?

Any other spoon choices out there that I may be unaware of? I just saw the MOOSE LOOK spoon on the franks web site has anyone ever used this for iceing wall eyes? IF so what colors produce best?

Or the dartee by Williams?

Also has anyone ever try the Cicada out on the bay? I have had good luck on the river with this bait but never used it on the bay...Thoughts here?

Usually use the white and chartruese Do-Jigger. It works real well.

Kastmaster is a killer trout lure. I was introduced to them by a guide in alaska. Caught fourty trout in a mountain stream in one three hour stretch using a little silver kastmaster. Never used one for ice fishing though.

Exitpupil,

In regards to the kastmaster I know a few that use them. The color is red on one side with white on back and front with red, blue, and yellow dots we call it the clown. Good luck fishing.:)

I use a small one for perch. I remove the treble and tie on a 3" piece of mono (6#) and then a small jig. Bounce it off the bottom and hold on!
