Can I get some ideas on a simple venison marinade for steaks and chops. These would either be fried or grilled on a Goerge Foreman grill (I know I need a real one  )?
Thanks!

Any thing with vinegar as an ingredient like Wishbone Italian dressing or any red wine like a merlot. Throw in a clove of garlic if you want, just mince it first. Let it sit covered in the refridgerator at least 2 hrs, overnight if possible.

Worchester Sauce and Monteral Steak Seasoning. Let it soak for a couple of hours or overnight if you have the time.

I found a real nice marinade recipe on another forum:
1 can beer
1 1/2 cups worchestershire
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tblspoon of lemon juice or vinegar
1 tblspoon of liquid smoke
some ground black pepper
some garlic salt
Let sit overnight or at least 8 hours and fire em up on the grill.....delicious

Thanks everyone. Going to try these real soon (have some chops thawing out today).
Hoytshooter4, that sounds really good. I have everything but the liquid smoke. Do you think it would be OK without.

Sorry i just realized i mixed up the amounts of ingredients the actual recipe is:
1 can beer
2 cups worchestershire
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
3 tsp liquid smoke
ground pepper
garlic salt
And yes i didn't use liquid smoke the first time and it was very tasty...probably helped that the steaks were done on a charcoal grill. i could see how it would make them even better though. i reduced the amount of soy too b/c the steaks had a good amount of a salty taste to em. hope yours turn out as well as mine did!

Here is a nice Terriaki marinade:
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup oil (I prefer virgin olive)
1/3 cup whiskey
Place venison in a zip lok bag, shake to mix, allow time to soak in, and you will be amazed at how good it tastes.
