Kalamazoo River

[No Threat]

Fished the Kalamazoo river for steelhead this weekend. Sat. we went 4 for 10 and Sun. we went 3 for 5. All on Hot n tots and wiggle warts. They seemed to be running fairly big also, one 14#, one 12# and a couple @ 10#. Also saw at least 20 fish landed off the wall on Sat.

Did you happen to notice if anyone was catching any walleyes? I used to go down there this time of year to jig for them, only caught short ones, though. Chad.

took a couple of freinds to the Kazoo today and ended up 4 for 5 on the steelies and 2 bonus walleyes. all steelies and eyes came on spawn except for 1 -10 lb hen(cromer) that hit a silver/red wiggle wart water is a little lower and 44 degrees. the other steelies were 7,9 lbs and one skipper too. the eyes were a throwback and an 18 incher. We fished from a boat, most anglers had fish, mostly on the troll.:)
