Im just curious what everyones thoughts on Diamond archery bows are. If im not mistaken, arent they related to bow tech? Ive noticed they are much cheaper then bowtech. Hows the quality? If the quality is similar to bowtech, why do people pay more for bowtech and not go to diamond?
Any help will be appreciated.

Bowtech bought diamond and changed their lineup. Bows are just a litle bit slower than the Bowtech line and with the exception of the victory, lack a parallel limb design. The 2006 bows actually have 2 former bowtechs in the lineup. THe liberty and justice and are sporting a lower price too. The liberty is a great bow!

I believe it may end up being a Hoyt/Reflex type of arrangement in the end. And as someone stated, the Liberty, Justice, and Rascal are all BT bows of yesteryear. The Liberty and Justice have some of the smoothest drawing cams in the business. Great bows!!

I can imagine a scenario where a bow manufacturer who markets his product only through the "pro shop" channel may covet more volume. And, if signing on additional shops that are both credit-worthy and not competing against existing dealers is problematic........well, he may wish to move product through the mass merchants or internet retailers (Cabela's, Eders, etc).
But, how can he do that without cannibalizing his loyal --and high margin -- pro-shop sales?
One way is to use his factory and staff to manufacture & market a product similar to his primary line....but, call it a different name. Does Hoyt & Reflex come to mind?
We are only talking about archery products here ... but the practice is very common in many other products and many other manufacturers.
