First ice on the bay?

Anyone tested the ice yet around the bay? Pine River...Linwood...Quanicassee? Any reports?

Went to Frank's today, on the way there the Saginaw has skim on it in spots, river in kawkawlin had ice with a little snow cover. If it stays cold, won't be long. But with this warm weather comming for next couple days it will not help.

Looks like the rain and warm temps coming will set it back a ways. :( But after that its back to freezing at night and low 30's in the day :D Keep your fingers crossed.

What little ice thats out there will be gone in the next couple of days for mid michigan.The Augres river had maybe an inch of ice on it today.

my buddies fish the bay on the ice yesterday morning. Nothing but dinks. Ice was 2 to 3 inches thick. They were in 2 FOW. They wore waders just in case. I was a little hung over from the night before so I didnt make the trip.
