Tying parachute flies

Well I tried another one tonight. I tried something different. After I had the post tied in and wrapped my hackle around it, I tied the fly off on the post as well by wrapping the thread around it and the hackle instead of the head. I could not do more than one whip to finish it off though so it may fall apart. Looks a little better than most of mine though.

check out Al Campbell's series on fly tying at www.flyanglersonline.com (http://www.flyanglersonline.com) from the home page click on "fly Tying" then "Intermediate Tying" then "#21 Adams Parachute" his instruction is the best I've seen. The whole series of beginning and intermediate tying is
great, super pictures also.
No kidding Steve once you get the hang of it you will find that tying parachutes is no big deal.
