Gotta love that "free" advice,, especially when its "good" also. Small knife, use it sparringly. The first deer I gutted I was on my own, only took me a lil' over an hour to do it. ;) After the first few you do, you'll learn your way around the deer and its insides, then you'll eventually develop you're "own style". Just take your time on your first one, you'll be ok.
