Hey there guys since it is just about time to put our boats away for the winter.. I was thinking why dont we post pictures of our boats so maybe we can match the boats to some names on this web site, it is just a thought I will go first..

To make this an offical report the wife and I took a ride along the river on the way home tonight and saw no one whipping along the juction bouy resturant, but there was two boat trailers in the parking lot tho.. Port Sanilac and Saint Clair ramps are still in and Lexingtons are pulled.. Cya Slick

PS.. I guess I am doing this post because it is going to be a long winter :(

Well, with water temps of 52 degrees, we should have another month of soft water fishing. My rig is in and ready to go if these darn winds ever settle down and let the lake clean up! :(

She is sitting in indoor storage now with about 280 hours on the water, from the Detroit River in Spring, Hole in the wall and LSC for perch, Frankfort to Ludington for Salmon.

Has a Lowarance color fishfinder/GPS and Big John Electric Downriggers. Shimano Reels and Berkley Rods. This year was a great year on Lake Erie and pulling my daughter up on waterskis and a ton of tubing.

It's a 19 foot Chapperal with a 5.0L 220 HP and goes 53+ MPH in early spring or late summer when the perch are running.

Goog Luck and good fishing!

Probably one of the oldest you'll see at the launch.....A '63 Flying Crest by Crestliner. Not pretty, but it gets r done and the monthly payment is pretty cheap. :D Had it in all the great lakes now that I dragged it up to Superior this past may.

Pic of my daughter tori and the boat off Sterling in June....

Thanks Paul,

I had wanted that particular model for many years. Finally, some stock options matured and I began looking. Found it in Atlanta, GA. The guy that owned her was a master wood craftsman that did restoration on old Plantation homes. He had fallen off/ rather his scaffolding collapsed and his hip and right leg were broken. After several operations he determined that standing to drive a boat was too painful. So, he put her up for sale on Yachtworld. In short, I bought it. It is a 1997. Bought it at Thanksgiving 1999. It had been in the water once. Still had stickers on her and the original fuel in tanks.

Great boat. The commercial division of Boston Whaler produces the 24 for the Coast Guard, Navy Seals and Fire Departments.
Since Sea Ray bought Whaler, the boats just don't have that classic whaler look anymore.

Hotwired I forgot what month it was but it was the only freighter to run aground on Chrysler beach.. My buddy was out there and took a bunch of pictures.. He just got done catching his limit of walleye and he was heading back to the ramp and he heard the freighter honking and he figured it was some other boat out in the middle of the river but low and behold he was honking at him..

Because the freighter was heading right at him towards shore.. I have about 5 more shots of the freighter from the middle of the river..Cya Slick
